Do you ever wish you could cast your own vote on the bills your congressional representatives are deciding on your behalf? OK, I understand that it would be next to impossible for every registered voter to do that, but that doesn’t keep ME from wishing I was marking that ballot instead of my elected rep.

If that describes your feelings, then take advantage of a brand new website founded by Steve Thompson called e-VotingBooth.com. The website maintains a database of legislative bills from thomas.gov and makes them available for your input. Yep, you heard me right. Visit the site and cast your vote!

The site was the brainchild of Steve Thompson. Steve, a naval officer currently stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, believes in “democracy, freedom and the United States.” While in a discussion about a Vietnam veteran’s website that allowed users to search for other veterans, Steve realized that he didn’t need the government, which we all know can be S-L-O-W and is also controlled by special interest groups and politicians, to provide the same type of search for legislative bills and e-VotingBooth.com was born.

The way it works is simple:

  1. Create an account by registering at www.e-votingbooth.com
  2. Select a Bill
  3. Cast your vote!
