A WAY Cool Opera Feature

Date May 14, 2008

OK, you know that I didn’t have the time to explore ALL of the features in each of the browsers I used during my test phase but I can’t believe I missed this one in Opera.

One of the things I really like about Firefox is that I can use plug-ins to view pages in Internet Explorer with either IEView or IETab. I can even use FirefoxView to flip back to Firefox from IE. With K-Meleon, I can at least open a page in IE. OK, that’s great…but what if I’m using K-Meleon and want to view a page in Firefox? What if I’m using Firefox and want to view the page in Safari? I just discovered that I can view a page with any browser I have installed on my PC from within Opera! Is that cool or what? All I have to do is right-click on the page I’m viewing in Opera and choose ‘Open With’ to get a list of ALL THE BROWSERS INSTALLED ON MY PC! That’s reason enough for me to start using Opera as my default browser. Hmmmmm…..I love ya, K-Meleon but I think I’m gonna have to check out Opera for awhile and see what other cool features I missed during testing!
