Views from the Coop On-the-Air Welcomes Diskeeper!
February 14, 2007
Sometime within the next month, I will be talking with a representative from Diskeeper Corporation who will be sharing information with our listeners about defragmentation and how important it is to maintaining the health and speed of your PC. As soon as I know the name of the guy or gal who will be joining me via phone on-the-air and the date we’ll have them on the air, I will let you know. If you have questions about Diskeeper products or defragmentation in general that you would like to address to our phone guest when he or she calls, just leave your comment here.
Speaking of comments, it’s VERY important that you leave your comments on this blog before Diskeeper is on-the-air with Views from the Coop. The reason is that Derek DeVette, my contact at Diskeeper, has promised to give away complete versions of Diskeeper 2007 Home Edition to three of our lucky listeners. The only way you can enter to receive one of those copies is to leave a comment on this blog. This promotion is ONLY for local listeners of Views from the Coop on KTTR/KZNN, so leave your comment with your name and where you are when you listen to Lee and me. I’ll be making a list of everyone who leaves a comment on the blog between today, February 14, and the day before Diskeeper calls us on-the-air. During the interview, I’ll have the caller from Diskeeper choose three numbers that fall within the number of comments I receive and those folks will be the lucky winners of their own copy of Diskeeper 2007 Home Edition.
So, what are you waiting for? What’s your name and where are you when you listen to me and Lee on Views from the Coop On-the-Air?

Update!!!! Derek DeVette, a 14 year veteran of Diskeeper (from the Executive Software days) will be our guest sometime during March on Views from the Coop On-the-Air. Derek will be explaining the benefits of defragmentation and how Diskeeper 2007 can help you keep your system running smoothly and speedily. I already told you that he’d be giving away 3 copies of Diskeeper 2007 Home Edition but he’s made it even better! Instead of the Home Edition, Derek will be giving away three boxed copies of the Premiere Pro Edition instead. Just remember that the only way you can enter to win is by leaving your comments on this blog. Tell me who you are and where you listen to Views from the Coop on KTTR/KZNN!

I use programs like RegScrub, AVG, etc.. but would really love to have a copy of this! Well.. thanks for your time! Have a great day, looking forward to your next show

Paige,
Caught your show this morning and thought I would throw my name in the hat for the diskeeper software. I will be anxiously folowing your comments and experiences with Vista. I really have the itch to buy a new laptop, but I have a bunch of programs that I use regularly on XP that I would want on my new laptop, so I need to see if they are compatible with Vista.
Hopefully you will start getting some feedback on here from Vista users and software they are having problems with.

[...] I’ve noticed that a couple of you have even entered to win “whatever you’re giving away” and to be honest, that’s a real cop-out. I guess I could have asked you what you were going to use the prize for and that would have forced you to actually check out what it is but I decided to only ask for your name and where you are when you listen. Hmmmmm…I think I’ll change that up on the air next week. If you want to enter to win, YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT I’M GIVING AWAY! Just to remind you, check out this post for details. [...]

Hi Paige
I am a writer and a member of RAWG the( Rolla Area Writers Group)
I have been a member for the past 10 years. I listen to your show on Wednesday mornings and I was the one that called and ask about the class in St James. I was thrilled when one was started so quickly. I am recovering from a stroke and have many blank spots, the classes are a big help. I am truly interested in the Diskeeper, please add my name.

I so enjoy listening to you and Lee on Wednesday mornings. Not only do you entertain, but there is so much information given, and so many things to learn. I really look forward to that time.
I am looking forward to the interview with Derek DeVette and to learn more about Diskeeper. He is being very generous with his giveaways.
Keep up the good work Paige, you are awesome

[...] I just don’t understand it. Who wouldn’t want their very own 2 Smart Chix coffee mug? They’re really cute and hold plenty of your hot beverage of choice (or not hot, it’s your choice, remember?) I actually offered a FREE coffee mug to the first person who could call me on the air and tell me (and the listeners) who our special guest will be this month and what he’s going to be giving away. I even gave out the URL to this blog SEVERAL TIMES and nobody called….nobody…..what’s up with that? I guess I’ll try again next week. My thanks to the people who have taken the time to leave their comments so far. If you don’t want to actually LOOK (hint, see the links to the right of this post under Recent Posts) for the information, CLICK THIS LINK to read the post. [...]

Tried to log on to the blog during the on-air session Wednesday morning and got a “blank” page with some color and nothing else. Maybe it was the Mac I use at work! Kristin Whitaker
